HEAVY DUTY
50 L Vacuum Heavy-Duty Kneader
CE CERTIFIED
A 50-liter vacuum kneader for putty-like, low-flow compounds that cannot be stirred: heavy blades in a sealed trough, deaerated under vacuum during kneading.
Technical Specifications
A 50-liter vacuum kneader for materials that will not flow: putty-like compounds that have to be folded and sheared between heavy blades rather than stirred.

Full dimensional and drive data for the 50 L kneader is confirmed against the order drawing; the table above lists only what is fixed for the standard frame.
Key Design Features
Built for the material class that breaks ordinary mixers: low-flow, putty-like compounds.
Heavy Blades in a Trough
A material stiff enough to stand on a spatula cannot be stirred; it has to be folded and sheared between blades with a clearance that stays constant under load. The kneader frame is built around that duty rather than adapted from a mixer.
Deaeration During Kneading
The trough is sealed and held under vacuum while the blades work, so air entrained by folding is removed in the same operation instead of in a separate pass.
Torque Before Speed
Kneading needs torque at low shaft speed. The drive is geared accordingly, which is also why the frame is heavier than a mixer of the same volume.
Contact Material Quoted per Order
Trough and blade material are selected against the chemistry of the compound — the standard frame is quoted with the material specification rather than stocked in one grade.
Where the Kneader Fits
Materials that are handled rather than pumped.
Sealants and Mastics
Highly filled, low-flow compounds that are packed by pressing rather than poured.
Putty and Filler Paste
Materials stiff enough to hold shape, where mixing means folding and shearing between blades.
High-Filler Systems
Formulations with filler loadings beyond what a planetary mixer can wet out.
Non-Standard Duty
Kneading duties outside the standard frame are quoted against the material and the batch requirement.
Frequently Asked Questions — RJ-VPM-500L
Common engineering inquiries regarding vacuum retention, viscous material discharge, cleanroom compliance, and global FAT sign-off.
Q1. When is a kneader the right choice instead of a planetary mixer?
When the material will not flow. A planetary mixer folds and disperses a paste that can move; a kneader shears a compound stiff enough to hold its shape, with blade clearances maintained under load.
Q2. Is the trough vacuum-tight?
Yes. The trough is sealed and held under vacuum while kneading, so air folded into the material is removed during the same operation.
Q3. What contact material is used?
It is quoted per order against the chemistry of the compound. The standard frame is specified together with the material rather than stocked in a single grade.
