EMULSIFYING
120 L Multi-Function Vacuum Mixer
CE CERTIFIED
A 120-liter multi-function vacuum mixer with an interchangeable high-shear head — open, double-direction suction or coaxial stator — that can be swapped for a dispersing head, so emulsifying, dispersion and powder wetting share one frame.
Technical Specifications
A multi-function frame built around an interchangeable high-shear head: the same machine can emulsify, disperse or wet out a powder depending on which head is fitted.

Key Design Features
One frame, several processes: the head decides whether the batch is emulsified, dispersed or simply wetted out.
Shear Head or Dispersing Head
The high-speed shear emulsifying head and the high-speed dispersing head can be swapped on the same shaft, which lets a formulator change process without changing machine.
Open, Suction or Coaxial
Open-frame, double-direction suction and coaxial shear stators are the three usual choices. The stator, more than the rpm, decides how the material is drawn through the shear zone.
Two Heads, or One Plus Another Type
The frame can carry two emulsifying heads, or one emulsifying head combined with a different head type, which is how a single vessel covers both emulsification and dispersion.
Deaeration in the Same Step
The vessel is sealed and held under vacuum, so air drawn in during powder wetting is removed before the batch is discharged.
Where the 120 L Multi-Function Frame Fits
Processes that need more than one shear regime in the same vessel.
Emulsification
Oil-in-water and water-in-oil systems where droplet size is set by the stator geometry rather than by time.
Powder Wetting
Dispersing fumed silica, carbon black or fillers into a liquid without dusting or lumping.
Adhesive Premix
Pre-mixing resin and filler before the batch moves to a planetary mixer for final homogenisation.
Coating Slurry
Coatings and inks where the same vessel has to emulsify and then disperse.
Frequently Asked Questions — RJ-VPM-500L
Common engineering inquiries regarding vacuum retention, viscous material discharge, cleanroom compliance, and global FAT sign-off.
Q1. What decides the stator choice?
How the material is drawn into the shear zone. An open stator suits free-flowing liquids, a double-direction suction stator pulls material in from both faces, and a coaxial head is used where a narrower droplet distribution is needed.
Q2. Can the machine disperse as well as emulsify?
Yes. The high-speed shear head and the high-speed dispersing head are interchangeable on the same shaft, so one frame covers both duties.
Q3. Is vacuum operation standard?
The vessel is vacuum-tight and held under vacuum during mixing, which is what removes the air drawn in when powders are added.
