EMULSIFYING
200 L Multi-Function Vacuum Mixer
CE CERTIFIED
A 200-liter multi-function vacuum mixer with the same interchangeable high-shear head system as the 120 L frame — open, double-direction suction or coaxial stator — sized for commercial emulsifying batches.
Technical Specifications
The 200 L build of the multi-function frame: same interchangeable head system, sized for a larger emulsifying batch.
| Parameter | Specification Value | Engineering Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Working Volume | 200 L | Vacuum vessel |
| Mixing Head | High-shear emulsifying head | Open, double-direction suction or coaxial stator |
| Head Interchange | Shear head ↔ dispersing head | Changed to suit the process |
| Stator Options | Open / double-direction / coaxial | Selected against the material |
| Combination Build | Two heads or one head plus another type | Configured at order |
| Operation | Vacuum | Sealed vessel for deaeration |
Key Design Features
Doubling the vessel does not change the process: the head system, stator choices and vacuum arrangement carry over from the 120 L frame.
Interchangeable at 200 Litres
The shear and dispersing heads interchange on the same shaft as on the smaller frame, so a process developed at 120 L does not need new tooling at 200 L.
Batch Scale Without Process Change
A larger vessel means a longer residence time in the shear zone, which is why the head and stator combination is confirmed against the batch rather than assumed from the smaller machine.
Wetting Without Dusting
Fillers and thickeners are drawn into the vortex rather than dumped on the surface, which is what keeps dusting and lumping under control at this volume.
Deaeration in the Same Step
Sealed vessel held under vacuum, so air drawn in during powder wetting is removed before discharge.
Where the 200 L Multi-Function Frame Fits
Emulsifying and dispersing duties that have outgrown the 120 L vessel but do not need a planetary frame.
Emulsification
Larger emulsifying batches where droplet size is set by stator geometry and residence time.
Adhesive Premix
Pre-mixing resin and filler before final homogenisation in a planetary mixer.
Coating Slurry
Coatings and inks produced in commercial batch sizes.
Powder Wetting
Dispersing fillers and thickeners into a liquid carrier without dusting.
Frequently Asked Questions — RJ-VPM-500L
Common engineering inquiries regarding vacuum retention, viscous material discharge, cleanroom compliance, and global FAT sign-off.
Q1. Does a larger vessel change the emulsifying result?
It changes the residence time in the shear zone, so the head and stator combination is confirmed against the batch rather than copied from the 120 L machine.
Q2. Can the same frame run two different heads?
Yes. The frame can carry two emulsifying heads, or one emulsifying head combined with another head type, configured at order.
Q3. Is the vessel vacuum-rated?
Yes, and it is held under vacuum during mixing, which removes the air drawn in when powders are added.
